Cathedral Choir visits Midwest !!

The Cathedral Choir recently travelled to the Midwest to take part in the Centenary celebrations of the laying of the foundation stone of the Church of Our Lady of Mt Carmel and Sts Peter and Paul, Mullewa.

They also took part in a ‘mini-pilgrimage’ visiting Mass Rock (where Monsignor John Hawes would go to minister to the local indigenous people) and also to Pioneer Cemetery – AND they sang at the Solemn Sung Mass at St Francis Xavier Cathedral Geraldton the next morning – AND as a bonus extra, we also threw in a flash mob in the local restaurant ‘Laian’ – whilst enjoying some well-earned, cool soft drinks !!!

It was wonderful to engage with the wider community in this way – they were very appreciative of our presence !! Well done guys !!
