All Are Welcome

St Mary’s Cathedral is more than just a place of worship; it’s a vibrant community where faith comes to life. We open our doors to everyone, welcoming you to join us in celebrating faith, serving others, and building lasting connections. From young adults seeking fellowship to organisations dedicated to helping those in need, there’s a place for everyone in our Cathedral family.

Be part of a vibrant community of young Catholics (ages 18–35) at St Mary’s Cathedral! Led by our chaplain, Fr. Jason Yeap, the Cathedral Young Adults group fosters faith, friendship, and connection through social gatherings, discussions, and opportunities to serve. Whether you’re new to the parish or a long-time member, this is your chance to grow in faith and build lasting relationships in a supportive and welcoming environment.

The St Vinnies group embodies compassion and service, supporting individuals and families facing difficult times. Guided by a commitment to human dignity, members work tirelessly to provide practical help, build friendships, and uplift those in need.

Whether it’s organising food drives, assisting the homeless, or lending a caring ear, St Vinnies is a place where faith is lived through action. Discover how you can be part of this mission of kindness and hope.

The Knights of the Southern Cross are a fraternity of Catholic men dedicated to serving the Church and the community through acts of charity, leadership, and faith. With a proud tradition of upholding Christian values, the Knights work to make a positive impact through initiatives that support education, social justice, and parish life.

Joining the Knights offers an opportunity to grow spiritually, serve others, and be part of a brotherhood committed to making a meaningful difference in today’s world.

Volunteering is at the heart of our vibrant parish life, offering a range of opportunities to serve and be involved. Whether it’s as an acolyte, altar server, reader, cleaner, florist, or helping with crowd control, each role plays a vital part in creating a welcoming and active parish community.

Becoming a volunteer is more than just giving your time—it’s a chance to connect, grow in faith, and contribute to something meaningful. Whatever your skills or interests, there’s a place for you to make a difference.
