18 March Cathedral programme update

The Archbishop has issued a letter this afternoon suspending all public Masses in the Archdiocese of Perth for an initial two-week period. The Sunday Obligation for the faithful does not apply during this time.

    ‘Mass on Demand’ (Online) and ‘Mass for You at Home’ (Television):

  • Online: ‘Mass on Demand’, a daily service of the Australian Catholic Bishops
    Conference and CathNews can be accessed online here.
  • Free-to-air Television: ‘Mass for You at Home’ is shown at 6.00am every
    Sunday morning on Channel 10.
  • We shall soon be live-streaming Mass from St Mary’s Cathedral parish.

The Cathedral bulletin contains resources for Sunday prayer and can be downloaded from our homepage. The Archdiocese will also making other resources available at the liturgy office web site.

    The Cathedral will be open:

  • Monday – Friday 8am – 1pm
  • Saturday 8am – 5pm
  • Sunday 8am – noon

    Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will take place at the Cathedral

  • Monday – Friday 8am – 1pm
  • Sunday 8am – noon

    Confessions will continue at the regular times.

  • Monday – Friday 11am – noon
  • Saturday 5pm – 6pm

The Cathedral priests will also be available in the Cathedral during opening hours. We shall continue our ministry to the sick.
